New for the 2010-11 winter season, Pacific Crest Heli-Guides in partnership with HeliTahoe is offering helicopter skiing and snowboarding on more than 100,000 acres of reserved terrain consisting of open bowls, perfectly spaced trees and north-facing chutes and couloirs. Plenty of options for the non-skier and throughout the year including scenic flights, mountain-top wine tasting and dinners and other guided activities such as snowshoeing, hiking, biking, fishing and more!

Please be advised of weight limitations of 220 lbs per seat (on 2 person flights), and 185 lbs per seat average (on 3 person flights). Due to high density altitude operations, the pilot in command is responsible for safety; therefore, the pilot will have the final word when it comes to acceptance of passengers. The length of the tour will be considered, as well as the individual weights and the atmospheric conditions.
Age limitations:
No passenger under the age of 2 (two) is allowed to take a helicopter tour. Children must be accompanied during the flight by a parent, guardian, or a person responsible for them.
Handicapped and disabled passengers:
There are no specific limitations for handicapped and/or disabled passengers, but HeliTahoe must be informed in advance about the nature of the handicap. The pilot in command will exercise their authority to accept the customer, in order to maintain the safest of conditions.
Minimum number of passengers per flight:
Each flight performed by HeliTahoe requires at least 2 (two) passengers. Exceptions can be made based on certain circumstances, but not on a regular basis.
Maximum number of passengers per flight:
At the present time, HeliTahoe operates Robinson R44 helicopters. The maximum number of passengers per flight is 3, but is subject to consideration of the individual weights of passengers and duration of the tour. Feasibility of the tour depends on the evaluation made by the pilot in command.
Cancellation policy:
Under normal circumstances, unless the flight has to be cancelled due to adverse weather or unscheduled maintenance, HeliTahoe requires 24-hour notification of a cancellation. In case of no call-no show, the passengers will be charged for the full amount of the tour originally booked. No charges or penalties apply in the instance of adverse weather or of unscheduled maintenance. HeliTahoe will make every effort to reschedule a tour that has been cancelled, in order to accommodate customers.
HeliTahoe will be happy to provide any additional information upon request
