New for the 2010-11 winter season, Pacific Crest Heli-Guides in partnership with HeliTahoe is offering helicopter skiing and snowboarding on more than 100,000 acres of reserved terrain consisting of open bowls, perfectly spaced trees and north-facing chutes and couloirs. Plenty of options for the non-skier and throughout the year including scenic flights, mountain-top wine tasting and dinners and other guided activities such as snowshoeing, hiking, biking, fishing and more!
HeliTahoe operates year-round and scenic tours are available from South Lake Tahoe, Minden-Tahoe and Truckee airports. Large groups and all passengers (over the age of two) are welcome. Senior, handicapped and disabled passengers can easily be accommodated with pilot approval prior to reservation.
HeliTahoe offers tours as low as $70 per person for a tour of Emerald Bay, Fallen Leaf Lake and the Vikingsholm Castle. The flight departs from the South Lake Tahoe Airport and tourists are encouraged to bring a camera to capture amazing pictures from the best vantage point available.

Because Tahoe and surrounding areas can experience adverse weather conditions during several months of the year, HeliTahoe offers a full refund if a flight needs to be cancelled due to wind, rain or snow.
HeliWeddings
It’s the ultimate wedding experience. Imagine flying high above beautiful Lake Tahoe and saying “I do!” We’ll start from the South Lake Tahoe Airport and see the beauty above Lake Tahoe from Zephyr Cove to the magnificent Emerald Bay. Our $749 package includes the Minister, who will perform the ceremony in the air. The flight is approximately 20 minutes in length and the helicopter has enough room for just the Pilot, Bride and Groom and Minister. These in-flight weddings are available year-round so that couples can experience Lake Tahoe like they’ve never seen it before, high above Lake Tahoe where they can soar like the eagles do! Access to a wedding planner, marriage license and memorable marriage certificate are included in the $749 package price.
